Liu Xie and Goethe have very rich intertextuality theories and practices. All of them deeply recognize that intertextuality and originality are interdependent. The former is not only a basic law of creation, but also a characteristic of literary existence and the law of its own development. Liu Xie mainly discusses the intertextual issues in texts mainly from the perspective of history. His “Literary Mind and Carving of Dragons” is a true transliteration of each other. Goethe mainly discusses in depth from the perspective of philosophy “ ”Intensification" as the core of the intertextual issues outside the text, most of his works are his best known, absorb and transform the results of many of the former text. Intertextuality is literature as a literary thing, and its ubiquity and concern have fully proved this point.
