处于技术水平、市场需求、美学趣味不断变化的今天,书籍的装帧设计很难有永恒的判断标准。但除了上述三个要素外,满足读者需求才是书籍装帧设计的最终目的。读者对书籍通常有阅读和使用方面的舒适、安全、方便、快捷、省力等生理需求;同时也有审美、情感等多方面心理诉求。“以人为本”的书籍装帧设计要求把读者放在首位,把人性化设计渗透在图书开本、纸张材料、内文版式、文字、色彩等装帧细节中,使书籍装帧的最终形态符合读者的生理和心理需求。
