本发明所述显示装置包含一个阴极射线管和一个给阴极射线管提供信号的符号发生器组合,符号发生器控制电子束在阴极射线管荧光屏上描画出字母、数字、符号等。一具主偏转装置使电子束定位于阴极射线管屏面上选定的位置,然后符号发生器给符号偏转线圈提供控制信号,控制电子束在该位置上发生予定时信号。主偏转线圈和符号偏转线圈已在美专刊3337860中叙述。
The display device of the present invention comprises a cathode ray tube and a combination of symbol generators for providing signals to the cathode ray tube. The symbol generator controls the electron beam to draw letters, numbers, symbols and the like on the cathode ray tube screen. A main deflection means causes the electron beam to be positioned at a selected position on the cathode ray tube panel and the symbol generator then provides control signals to the deflection yoke to control the pre-timing signal at that position of the electron beam. The main deflection yoke and the symbol deflection coil are described in U.S. Patent No. 3,378,606.
