Rich Second Generation 富二代
Meaning: Referring to those Chinese men born into rich families after the 1980s.
首先提出“富二代”这一词的是著名访谈节目《鲁豫有约》，简单概括一下，就是指上世纪80年代后出生在富裕家庭的人们，他们的父辈大多是我国改革开放以来最早一代的民营企业家，因此他们可以靠继承家产的方式来拥有丰厚财富。这个词还有一个缩略写法：Rich 2G。另外，作为“富二代”的反义词，the poor second generation（贫二代）则用来指那些出生在普通工人与农民家庭未摆脱贫穷的孩子们。
A lot of rich second generation are sent to study abroad nowadays.
当今，许多富二代都被送出国留学去了。
The Officiallings 官二代
Meaning: Similar to the rich second generation, the officiallings are those children who have parents who work as government officials.
与富二代类似，官二代就是指政府官员的孩子。本来它是一个中性词，但是由于官二代问题的越发突显，这个词逐渐被狭义地认为是一类凭借上一代在官场或公务领域的关系进行权力腐败（以权谋私）的人。

Family Background Competition 拼爹游戏
Meaning: A truth which is universally acknowledged in the society nowadays is that the rich second generation and the officiallyings are able to get decent jobs and social status more easily than those from poorer families. And no matter how hardworking those poor second generation are, they will not go further than those who just“have a good father”.
顾名思义，“拼爹游戏”就是指当今社会公认的一个真相，即富二代与官二代比那些出生于较为贫穷家庭的孩子能够更容易地获得体面的工作和社会地位，而且无论贫二代如何努力，他们也超越不了那些只因“有个好爸爸”的人。当然，如此说法稍嫌夸张，我们可以看到依靠自己努力而功成名就的人才依然辈出。不过“拼爹”现象确有愈演愈烈的趋势，所以当下，如何采用正确的教育方式以及积极的舆论导向来纠正此风气，是人们应该迫切思考的问题。

China One 独生子女
Meaning: A term which was called “the only child” before. It is used to refer to the child who are a family’s only child. They get all the attention from all their family members as if they were the “emperor” of the family.
其实，无论富二代、官二代，还是贫二代，他们大多数都是独生子女。大家对这个词应该不会陌生，以前我们用“the only child”来表示这个词，但随着我国越来越多的家庭变成了4-2-1式家庭，独生子女的意义又发生了一些变化，于是，“China One”这个词则意为一个家族中唯一的孩子，他们受到所有家庭成员的全面关注，好像家中的“小皇帝”一样备受宠爱。
We should realize that most children of the“China one” generation lack independence as they have become so reliant on their families for support.
我们应该认识到大部分属于“独生子女”一代的孩子越来越依赖家庭的支持，缺乏独立意识。
解读“炫富”&“炫父”
