曾朴不仅是中国近代著名的小说家,还是一位重要的翻译家。通过对其首部译作《影之花》(1905)的考察后,可以理解他的翻译策略与文学理想。论文第一部分根据史料考证出署名为“润词者”的曾朴即是《影之花》译者,并分析了这一署名方式背后的原因;第二部分则通过《影之花》译文与原文的对比分析,呈现出曾朴“略存欧西文学之精神”的多种翻译尝试以及独立于时代风尚的翻译品格。
Zeng Pu is not only a well-known novelist in modern China, but also an important translator. Through his first translation of the “Shadow of Flowers” (1905) after the study, you can understand his translation strategies and literary ideal. In the first part of the dissertation, Zeng Pu is the translator of “Flower of Shadow”, which is named as “Yun Ci” based on historical data and analyzes the reasons behind the signature. The second part is through the “Flower of Shadow” The comparative analysis of the translation and the original text shows a variety of translation attempts of Zeng Pu, “The Spirit of Occidental Literature” and the translating character independent of the times.
