强化行政问责机制是我国发展民主政治的要求,对中国政治体制改革有着至关重要的作用。本文以武汉治庸问责风暴为例,探讨治庸问责对提升政府能力的效果,分析这项机制存在监督缺乏长效机制、治庸问责的力度和范围较小、治庸问责的动力不足等问题,完善治庸问责制度体制、强化外部监督、大力推进政府信息公开、全面提升公职人员的素质是解决这些问题的有效途径。
