Shoreface refers to the zone of underwater bank between below the low tide line and the lower limit of the sediment of the wave disturbance. Recent studies of marine geology and coastal geomorphology have increasingly proved that many of the geomorphological features of the modern sedimentary coast are related to the shoreward transport and sedimentation of coastal sediments under the influence of the rising sea level in the late ice period. This shore-based movement of sediment in the sea area is mainly achieved through the shore-to-land transfer (including vertical transfer and horizontal transfer). In recent years, the discussion on the issue of coastal surface transfer and its geomorphic effect abroad has drawn great attention. However, there are not many domestic studies on this issue. However, many theoretical and practical problems in our coastal research may not be able to make any significant progress without considering this role and process.
