美国是世界上最大的资本流入国,联合国贸发会议发布的《2000年世界投资报告》显示,2000年全球吸引外资总额超过了1万亿美元,而美国所吸引的外资就达4000亿美元,几乎比1998年的2800亿美元增长一倍。巨额外资的流入,主要得益于它是一个高度发达的自由经济国家,具有吸引外资的优良的软、硬环境。
The United States is the largest capital inflow country in the world. According to World Investment Report 2000 released by UNCTAD, in 2000, the total amount of foreign investment in the world exceeded one trillion U.S. dollars, while the U.S. attracted 400 billion U.S. dollars. Almost double the amount of 280 billion U.S. dollars in 1998. The huge inflow of foreign capital is mainly due to that it is a highly developed free economy with excellent soft and hard environment for attracting foreign investment.
