之豇28-2豇豆是浙江省农科院园艺所用红咀燕(一点红)作母本,杭州青皮豇豆作父本进行杂交经7代系谱选育而成。该品种株高250～300厘米,22～25节,叶卵形主蔓有花序5～7个,每花序2～4对花。始花节位低,平均主蔓在4.8节,侧蔓平均在1.7节。单株结荚13～14个,荚长55～65厘米,荚粗0.8～11厘米,单荚重22克左右,品质佳,质糯,纤维少,荚嫩肉厚。对日照要求不严格,熟性较早,播种至始收期一般需50～60天,总收获期30～50天。要求肥量充足。每亩4500穴,每穴2～3株。早期产量高,一般亩产3300多斤。抗花叶病毒病。但后期荚形变短,抗煤霉病、白粉病和根腐病能力差,耐热不耐涝。
