1923年2月間在中国共产党領导下的京汉铁路工人大罢工,是我国工人第一次有組織地从經济斗爭轉到政治斗爭的伟大运动。这次罢工虽然由于封建軍閥的血腥镇压而遭到挫敗,但是却显示了我国工人阶級組织力量和革命精神的迅速增长,提高了中国工人阶级和中国共产党在全国人民中的政治威信,因此,这一次罢工具有很大的历史意义。
The strike by the Beijing-Hankou railway workers under the leadership of the Communist Party of China in February 1923 was the first great move by our workers in a structural shift from economic struggle to political struggle. Although this strike was thwarted by the bloody suppression of feudal warlords, it shows the rapid growth of the working-class organization and revolutionary spirit in our country and the political prestige of the working class and the CPC in the entire Chinese people. Therefore, This strike has great historical significance.
