不久前,中央城市工作会议召开,从顶层设计角度为城市把脉。城市化,是一个国家发展进入文明阶段的重要标志。改革开放以来,我国经历了世界历史上规模最大、速度最快的城镇化进程。自1978年以来,我国城镇化率由18%提高到现在的56.1%,城市数量从193个增加到目前的653个;城镇常住人口也从1.7亿增至如今的近7.7亿,每年新增近2100万人,接近澳大利亚的人口总量。
Not long ago, the central city working conference was held, from the top-level design point of view for the city. Urbanization is an important symbol of a country’s development into a civilized stage. Since the reform and opening up, our country has experienced the largest and fastest urbanization in world history. Since 1978, the urbanization rate in our country has risen from 18% to 56.1%, the number of cities has increased from 193 to 653 now, and the permanent resident population in urban areas has also increased from 170 million to nearly 770 million nowadays 21 million people, close to the total population of Australia.
