开乐急倾斜矿体时,随着露天矿深度的增加,通常也要增加现行的剥离系数 R T。广泛采用的减少剥离系数 R T 值的方法之一,是减少工作平台的宽度。但是工作平台宽度只能减小到一定范围,否则将要降低矿床的开采强度,从而也将降低露天矿的生产能力。因此需要确定在剥离系数 R T 最小时,保证矿床开采强度的工作平台宽度。
