通过对第 2 7届奥运会田径比赛结果的分析 ,透视出当今国际田坛美国遥遥领先、保持世界第一 ;进入第二集团国家增多 ,竞争激烈 ;田径新生力量不断涌现 ,奖牌出现分流的总体实力格局。同时 ,从世界田径运动发展的现状来看 ,具有一定的发展不平衡性和较为明显的优势项目洲际分布特征。我国运动员在本届奥运会田径比赛中的欠佳表现 ,暴露出了我们训练中所存在的许多问题。转变思想观念、注重训练方法和手段的改革、加强田径后备人才的培养、提高训练过程中的科技含量和科学化训练水平、在全面提高田径运动整体水平的同时 ,注重几个重点项目的突破等 ,应是我们今后的努力方向
