大学英语教学目的是培养学生的阅读理解能力。大学英语教学大纲明确要求“培养学生具有较强的阅读能力,一定的听和译的能力以及初步的写与说的能力,使学生能以英语为工具,获取专业所需要的信息……”。大学英语四级考试(CET--4)中阅读理解题的比重达35%,因而阅读理解的成绩直接影响到学生的四级成绩,因此,培养和提高学生的阅读理解能力已成为我们英语教学的核心。
The purpose of college English teaching is to develop students’ reading comprehension. College English Syllabus explicitly requires “to develop students with strong reading ability, listening and translation ability and the ability to write and say preliminary, so that students can use English as a tool to obtain the information required by the professional ... ”. Therefore, reading comprehension results directly affect the students ’fourth grade results. Therefore, cultivating and improving students’ reading comprehension ability has become our English teaching Core.
