第三届亚太地区心脏起搏和心电生理学术讨论会于1985年10月27日至11月2日在澳大利亚举行。大会分两阶段进行:第一阶段在墨尔本城的希尔顿饭店,为期四天,主题是扩大心脏起搏的适应症;第二阶段移至悉尼市的歌剧院及Regcnt饭店,为期两天,主题是猝死的预防及起搏器的感知器问题。来自亚太及欧洲的29个国家和地区的465名代表提出了187篇论文(会上宣读了74篇)。19家起搏器、电生理仪器公司、药厂及图书公司参加了展览。我国有十名代表应邀参加。现仅就心脏起搏进展的有关问题扼要报告如下:
The 3rd APAC Symposium on Cardiac Pacing and Cardiology was held in Australia from October 27 to November 2, 1985. The conference was divided into two phases: Phase I Four days in the Hilton Hotel in Melbourne City with the theme of expanding the indications for cardiac pacing; Stage Two Moving to Sydney Opera House and Regcnt Hotel for two days with the theme of Sudden death prevention and pacemaker perceptron problems. 465 delegates from 29 countries and regions in Asia Pacific and Europe presented 187 papers (74 were read at the conference). 19 pacemakers, electrophysiology equipment companies, pharmaceutical companies and book companies participated in the exhibition. Ten representatives from China were invited to participate. The brief report on the progress of cardiac pacing is now as follows:
