新番3号是我所1984年用黄粉与180杂交,经过6年品种比较试验、区域试验和生产示范选育而成,1990年8月新疆农作物品种审定委员会予以审定并命名。 一、选育经过 新番3号的母本黄粉,系我所从江苏农科院蔬菜所引入(其幼苗黄色,果实有红、粉两种,选择纯粉果作母本),具有抗烟草花叶病毒(Tm_2~(nv))基因;父本180系我所选育的F_7新品系,其特点是自行封顶,早熟,优质,果大粉红色,外观美,抗病性较强。1984年在乌鲁木齐配制杂交组合,当年冬季在海南鉴定,符合丰产、优质、抗病的育种目标,随即在海南制种。1985和1986年进行品
