Serum anti-HEV and anti-HCV were detected in the blood donors in rural areas of Wuhan by using commercially available reagents, the positive rates of which were 5.74% and 9.35% respectively. Among the 288 plasmapheresis donors with ALT records, the detection rates of anti-HEV and anti-HCV for those who had the recent history of ALT were 14.04% and 14.18%, respectively, which were significantly higher than those without recent ALT Raising the history of the plasma who. A number of serum HBV markers were detected simultaneously in the above samples. There was no significant difference between the multiple HBV markers tested in the anti-HEV positive and anti-HCV positive blood donors and the corresponding negative groups.
