Not long ago, the Clinton administration announced that it would withdraw its export licensing requirements for feature personal computers, Unix workstations and small supercomputer computers, so that computer users in the world are expected to gain easier access to U.S.-made machines, according to a report by Nature. This change is one of a series of decisions recently made by the U.S. government, which shows that it has decided to play a more active role in cooperating with the U.S. industrial community. Other developments announced by President Bill Clinton and Commerce Secretary Brown include a 65-point revitalization of the U.S. manufacturing export strategy and a $ 1 billion a year first collaborative study with the automotive industry.
