本文以对比修辞学为理论基础,从文化的视角把英汉修辞格加以对比,进行研究,能够更好地进行跨文化交流,减少交际失败或失误。本文以委婉语修辞格为研究对象,阐述了文化与语言和修辞学之间的密切联系。通过举例指出英汉两种语言中这种辞格在表达上存在的差异,并从文化的角度对比分析了形成这些差异的原因。通过分析,论证了由于英汉两个民族的历史发展不同,生活环境和风俗习惯相异,思维模式、心理认知也有所差别,因而往往在使用同一修辞格时,这两种语言的使用者所选择的表达模式或词汇会有所差异,也就是说,处于不同文化环境中的人,会受到不同文化的熏陶,因此在修辞格的使用表达中必然会体现出其独特的不同于其他民族的文化痕迹。
Based on the contrast rhetoric, this thesis compares and analyzes the figures of speech in English and Chinese from the perspective of culture, and conducts better intercultural communication to reduce communicative failure or mistake. This essay takes rhetoric of euphemism as the research object and expounds the close relationship between culture and language and rhetoric. By means of examples, this paper points out the differences in expression between the two languages of English and Chinese and compares the reasons for the formation of these differences from a cultural perspective.
