温州大学是经教育部批准由原温州师范学院和原温州大学合并组建的综合性大学。温州大学文艺学学科是浙江省重点学科(A类),其所在的一级学科中国语言文学专业为浙江省重点建设专业。温州大学中国语言文学专业中的文艺学学科、汉语言文字学学科、民俗学学科、中国现当文学学科、中国古代文学学科、语言学与应用语言学学科、语文课程教学论学科,均为具有硕士学位授予权学科。目前,文艺学学科招收的在校硕士研究生42名,有教学科研人员15人。其中,享受国务院特殊津贴专家2人,浙江省“新世纪151人才工程”培养人选1人,浙江省高校中青年学科带头人1人,硕士生导师10人,教授7人,研究员1人,副教授4人,博士8人。近年来,主持国家社科基金项目4项,主持省部级重点项目2项,主持省部级一般项目10项,科研成果获得省部级奖二等奖2项、三等奖s项,省高校科研成果奖一等奖3项、二等奖4项、三等项5顷,出版著作16部。多年来,该学科的三个研究方向已形成自己的特色,并获得稳步发展,近年来的发展势头良好,三个研究方向都主持了国家社会科学基金项目,取得了较好的科研业绩。文艺美学研究方向在宏观的理论背景中,从诗性语言、文学时间、审美交往、影视生态美学、音乐美学等具体的问题入手,力求将艺术审美本体与人的审美生成联系起来,使文艺美学研究具有人文精神的价值地基,焕发文艺学学科参与当代人文事业建设的生机和活力,该研究方向已在这方面初步形成比较鲜明的特色。学科带头人兼该研究方向负责人马大康教授,是享受国务院特殊津贴专家,20世纪80年代初毕业子杭州大学,获硕士学位,长期致力于文艺美学研究,主持了国家社会科学基金项目“诗性语言研究”等多项课题,出版了《生命的沉醉——文学的审美本性与功能》、《审美乌托邦》、《诗性语言研究》、《叛乱的眼睛——审美与文化视野中的文学》等著作,并在《文艺研究》、《文艺理论研究》、《外国文学评论)、《学术月刊》等刊物上发表了一系列文艺美学基础理论方面的论文,获得浙江省人民政府颁发的哲学社会科学优秀成果奖等多种
