Japan is located in a temperate climate zone with more annual rainfall, which has an impact on the groundwater level, air humidity and light in the protected areas. Therefore, it is indirectly related to soil moisture management. Protected areas in paddy fields, during the rice cultivation season, groundwater levels rise, often causing harm to the fertility of vegetables. According to the statistics of late June 1976, about 49.3% of Japan’s 18,679 hectares of vegetable reserves have achieved automatic irrigation. However, most of them only install water pipes on the cultivation beds, and the manual switch-on irrigation of the main switch is actually a simple irrigation device. There is little irrigation through the soil moisture measurement and automatic control device, especially the lack of suitable large-scale protection
