焦作煤矿是一个地下涌水量特大的煤矿,每采一吨煤平均要排出地下水50m~3,排水电耗占全矿井总电耗的60%,每年仅排水电费就达1700万元以上。所以,重视研究提高排水经济效益,节约能源,对焦作局扭亏增盈意义十分重大,而排水节能的核心是排水泵,焦作局井下拥有庞大的排水系统,泵房31个、水泵238台,装机总容量达12.9万kW,过去使用大部分是自制的SSM25型泵,流量只有408m~3/h,效率只有68%,目前国内虽有250D~60型泵,效率可达75~78%,然而流量也只有450m~3/h,仍然满足不了焦作水大和改善群泵
