“模式”这一术语本是英文 modol 的汉译名词之一,类似汉语中的“模型”、“范例”、“典型”等概念,而又与这些概念不尽相同.教学模式作为思考课堂教学的一种工具或手段,其研究最早兴起于美国。乔以斯和韦尔合作编著的《教学模式》是这一研究的最为完备的理论成果.该书从上百种教学模式中选出二十五种模式,归纳成信息处理、个人发展、社会相互作用和行为教学四大类,对教育目的、教育方法,课程设计和教学材料以及社会的和心理学的理论的相互作用进行了系统的研究,被奉为教学研究之经典。受乔以斯和韦尔《教学模式》
