河海大学科学技术协会成立大会暨第一届会员代表大会于1990年1月6日在校友谊山6号楼隆重举行。出席大会的有在校248个学术团体计2000余名会员中的代表190多人。大会由解启庚副校长主持、江苏省科协秘书长刘安仁、南京市科协副主席陈达济、中国高校科协联合会副秘书长刘裕意应邀出席了大会,并分别在会上作了讲话表示祝贺。姜弘道副校长向大会作了校科协筹备工作报告。大会通过了河海大学科协章程,选举产生了由56名委员组成的校
Hohai University Association for Science and Technology founding conference and the first member congress on January 6, 1990 at Friendship Hill Building 6, solemnly held. More than 190 representatives from more than 2,000 members of 248 academic societies attended the conference. The conference was presided over by Vice President Xie Jiegong. Liu Anren, secretary-general of Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology, Chen Dazi, vice chairman of Nanjing Association for Science and Technology, and Liu Yuyi, deputy secretary-general of Chinese Association for Science and Technology Association attended and invited to attend the congress. They each delivered a speech congratulating them. Vice President Jiang Hongdao made a report on the preparatory work for the CAST for the General Assembly.
