The induced rupture of the heat transfer tube of a steam generator is one of the serious accidents to be evaluated in the second-level Probabilistic Safety Analysis (PSA) of a nuclear power plant. Firstly, the key factors causing the accident were identified, and then the incident process event tree (APET) was established. Through risk-oriented accident analysis (ROAAM), combined with thermal-hydraulic calculation and parameter sampling, the occurrence of important phenomena nodes in APET Probability, Quantitative Assessment of Frequencies and Conditional Probabilities of Steam Generator Tube Heat Transfer Tube Rupture (SGTR) Accidents Caused by Core Damage Critical Incidents and Discussion of Design Features to Reduce SGTR Risk.
