天津是国家首批电子信息产业基地之一,现已连续七年位居天津市第一大支柱产业地位。2005年,电子信息产业实现销售收入1975亿元,同比增长21％。其中电子信息产品制造业实现销售收入 1850亿元,位居全国第五位,同比增长 22％;电子信息产品制造业利润率高达 11．75％,综合经济效益位居国内第一。
Tianjin is one of the country’s first electronic information industry bases and has now ranked No.1 in Tianjin’s pillar industries for seven consecutive years. In 2005, the electronic information industry achieved sales revenue of 197.5 billion yuan, an increase of 21% over the same period of last year. Among them, the electronic information product manufacturing industry achieved a sales revenue of 185 billion yuan, ranking the fifth in the country, an increase of 22% over the same period of last year; the profit margin of the electronic information product manufacturing industry was as high as 11.75%, ranking first in China for comprehensive economic efficiency.
