修辞学的生存空间寓于用有限的语言去表现无限的事物的矛盾之中。动词范畴的延伸有助于用有限的动词来描述和说明无限的事件和行为。替用型延伸基于相似性,其心理机制是隐喻。顺用型延伸基于接近性,其心理基础是转喻。替用型延伸是对动词新用法的尝试,而顺用型延伸常是动词用法的反讽,主要是为了实现论元的对比、等同,或凸显某一临时的配置论元。
The living space of rhetoric lies in the contradiction between using infinite language to express infinite things. The extension of verb categories helps to describe and explain the infinite events and behaviors with limited verbs. The alternative type of extension is based on similarity and its psychological mechanism is metaphorical. Shun-type extension based on proximity, the psychological basis is metonymy. The extension of alternative use is an attempt to use new usage of verbs, while the use of extended use is often the irony of verb usage, mainly to achieve the comparison of the argument, the equivalence, or to highlight a temporary configuration argument.
