高风亮节留世 1929年9月,在结束了5个春秋的海外求学生涯以后,刚刚过了27岁生日的周培源受聘回到阔别5年的母校,成为国立清华大学年轻的物理学教授。30年代初至40年代末,他虽然多次出国,而国内战火纷飞,祖国前途未卜,他始终不能将自己的生命之树移植在异国他乡,总是在学术上卓有成就之后便返回祖国。周培源在数十年的科学生涯中,为振兴中华民族、促进全人类的文明、和平与发展,作出了不懈的努力,奉献了毕生
In 1929 September, after ending his five overseas studies career, Zhou Peiyuan, who just passed the 27th birthday, was hired back to his alma mater 5 years later to become a young professor of physics at National Tsing Hua University. From the early 1930s to the late 1940s, although he traveled abroad many times and the domestic war was swirling and the future of the motherland was uncertain, he could never transplant his own tree of life in a foreign land and return to the motherland after making academic achievements. In his decades-long scientific career, Zhou Peiyuan has made unremitting efforts and devoted his life to rejuvenating the Chinese nation and promoting civilization, peace and development for all mankind.
