南浦大桥主桥为一跨过江的双塔以索面迭合梁斜拉桥,主桥长846m,其中迭合梁部分为765m,在主桥与东、西引桥之间各有一个跨度为40.5m的过渡段,把主桥与东、西引桥连接起来。中孔跨径423m,是目前国内最大跨径的斜拉桥,在世界迭合梁斜拉桥中名列第三。主塔高150m,是折线H型空心钢
The main bridge of Nanpu Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge with double faced laminated girders spanning the river. The length of the main bridge is 846m, and the part of the laminated beams is 765m. There is a span between the main bridge and the east and west approach bridges. In the 40.5m transition section, the main bridge is connected with the east and west approach bridges. With a span of 423m, Zhongkong has the largest span cable-stayed bridge in China and ranks third among the world’s laminated beam cable-stayed bridges.
