《荷塘月色》是我国散文大家朱自清的重要代表作,因其极高的文学造诣和美感,历来便有不少的英译本,本文选取了朱纯深和杨宪益夫妇的译本做对比赏析,从全文主旨的把握和词汇选择两方面来探寻《荷塘月色》英译本的不同文学美感和中英文化差异,并希望对日后的翻译实践有所借鉴参考。
“Lotus Pond Moonlight” is an important representative of Zhu Ziqing, an essayist in our country. Because of its extremely high literary accomplishments and aesthetics, it has always had a lot of English translations. This essay selects and compares the translation versions of Zhu Chunshen’s and Yang Xianyi’s couple. Grasp and choice of vocabulary to explore the different literary beauty and cultural differences between English and Chinese in the English version of “Lotus Pond Moonlight” and hope to provide reference for future translation practice.
