余干县是国家级贫困县,农村义务教育基础较差,1994年以前危房比例高达58%。在各级政府和有关部门的高度重视和大力支持下,余干县积极抓住第一、二期“义教工程”和世行贷款、98救灾专款、农村寄宿制工程等项目的实施,在全县范围掀起了危房改造的高潮。十几年来,共筹措资金1亿元,兴建教学用房近5000栋,约33万平方米,极大地改善了办学条件。
Yugan County is a state-level poverty-stricken county. The foundation of rural compulsory education is poor. The proportion of dangerous houses before 1994 was as high as 58%. With the high level of attention and strong support from governments at all levels and relevant departments, Yugan County actively seized the implementation of the first and second phases of the “Just Education Project” and the World Bank loan, 98 disaster relief special funds, and rural boarding projects. The whole county has set off the climax of the renovation of dangerous buildings. For more than a decade, a total of 100 million yuan has been raised to finance the construction of nearly 5,000 educational buildings, which is approximately 330,000 square meters, greatly improving the conditions for running schools.
