阿坝州科学技术研究院于2004年8月正式组建,为州人民政府直属正县级事业单位,院部位于阿坝州门户——汶川县。主要职责是为全州经济和社会发展提供科技支撑,为州委、州政府决策提供科学依据。建院后,在州委、州政府的关心下,在省、州主管部门的支持下,在院班子的正确领导下,全院职工统一思想、集思广益,形成了“敬业、严谨、创新、奋进”的良好院风,按照“围绕大局、力抓项目、科技兴院、开发强院”的工作思路,服务和服从于我州建设“全国藏区第一州”和建设“两大两优”区大局,以应用科研为主,以科技项目为支撑,以建言献策为途径,以成果转化为方向,依托科研搞开发,搞好开发成产业,努力为建设“全国藏区第一州”建功立业,多作贡献。全院核定编制120人,现有在职职工97人,其中院领导干部4人,职工93人,专业技术人员63人(正高3人、副高11人、中级25人、初级24人)。下设综合管理处、科研处、农业科学技术研究所、林业科学技术研究所、畜牧科学技术研究所、工业经济研究所、自然资源与科技信息研究所、旅游经济研究所。
