将圆x~2+y~2=r~2的方程中的x~2,y~2替换为x_0x,y_0y后得到的直线x_ix+y_0y=r~2与已知圆有着美妙的某些相切关系.类比圆的这些性质还可以猜想并证明椭圆、双曲线、抛物线也有着类似的结论.因为椭圆也象圆一样是封闭曲线,所以椭圆和圆的对应性质极其类似.因为双曲线、抛物线不是封闭曲线,特别是双曲线还受到渐近线的影响,所以情况会比较复杂.
