报载,国家《人名用字表》即将出台。据专家透露,这份“用字表”其实就是《规范汉字表》,表中共收一万多字。有人担心,颁布这份“用字表”,会不会侵犯公民取名自由权,这些问题且让法学家们去讨论;在我看来,取名有表可查,有法可依,实在是善莫大焉,它对提高姓名质量,强化语文规范意识是大有裨益的。 不错,姓名是应该有个性的。给孩子取名,搬出本《康熙字典》寻寻觅觅,也是人之常情。不过,个性和生僻字是不能画等号的。正如一条谜语所说,姓名这个东西,是“别人用得多,自己用得少”。别人看到你的名字,只能目瞪口呆,再有个性的名宇,其使用价值也会大打折扣的。章太炎先生为女儿取的名字便是一例。
