文冠果是一种有重要经济价值的木本油料树种。文冠果的含油率很高,种子含油率为36%,种仁含油率为64%。文冠果油是优质的食用油,也有较广泛的工业用途。文冠果的适应性很强,抗旱、耐寒,荒山、丘陵、沙地发展文冠果,大有可为。近年来,我省各地认真贯彻执行“以粮为纲,全面发展”的方针,引种一些文冠果树,已经取得了可喜的成果。——编者
