1.您能先介绍一下您个人的艺术发展过程吗?我的少年时代是在美国的内布拉斯加度过的,在很小的时候我就喜欢拍摄周围古老的房屋和谷仓,以及乡村建筑的破旧墙面,梦想着周游世界,长大以后我到旧金山学习绘画,之后在Claremont大学研究生院学习并获得了美术硕士学位,在那个阶段我的绘画作品都非常写实,属于现实主义,学院派的。1993年开始我创作了一系列的作品将艺术逐步转向了非写实的领域,作品的主题也都是关于城市街道和建筑,以此表现那些被现代化新的建筑所取代的正在逐步消逝的生活瞬间。
1. Could you introduce yourself to your personal art development process? My youth was spent in Nebraska, USA, and when I was a kid I enjoyed shooting around the old houses and barns, and The shabby walls of rural architecture, dreaming of traveling around the world, grew up to study painting in San Francisco, then studied at the Claremont Graduate School and got a master’s degree in fine art. At that stage my paintings were very realistic, Academic Starting in 1993, I created a series of works to gradually turn art into non-realistic areas. The themes of the works are also about urban streets and buildings as a manifestation of the evolving moments of life that have been replaced by modern new buildings .
