2017年9月9日,由南京雨花石协会、江苏省收藏家协会书画院与南京市建邺区文化旅游局联合主办的“一石一画·锦绣建邺”展在南京市建邺区图书馆拉开帷幕,近百人参加了开幕式。为使雨花石与雨花石画展示达到最佳艺术效果,江苏省收藏家协会书画院根据南京雨花石协会提供的《中国南京雨花石名石集萃》与《雨花石》杂志刊登的雨花石图片,组织书画家按各自书画风格,以天然原石为模,进行艺术创新,创作了62幅雨花石画作,彰显美石之美。
