《德意志意识形态》在马克思主义哲学的马哲史上,是其哲学体系形成的主要理论标志,占有十分重要的历史地位,也是马克思的第一个伟大发现——唯物史观的真正诞生地和发源地,是马克思主义哲学体系的“原生态”。《德意志意识形态》提及了“世界历史”理论,并在一定程度上展开了阐述,这一理论是唯物史观的重要理论。马克思对人类历史的总结,对资本主义现实的批判,以及对人类社会未来发展趋势的展望,在很大程度上都得益于他的世界历史理论。可以说,不了解马克思的“世界历史”理论,就不可能真正完整地理解马克思主义。
