抗战伊始,为了不愿沦于敌寇铁蹄之下,多少热血师生随同母校迁往大后方,其千里跋涉之艰辛,异地重建之劳苦,这段历史我们不能淡然遗忘。这里介绍的张孝骞,乃其中突出的一例。张孝骞(1897-1987),湖南长沙人,年轻时毕业于当地的湘雅医学院, 留校任助教及总住院医师。三年后(1924)赴北京协和医学院进修班进修, 毕业后被协和留任助教及住院医师。由于他在内科学上的钻研与长进,1926 年被派往美国进修一年,归国后升为讲师,1932年授副教授衔;翌年再次赴美进修,1934年回协和,任“消化专业组”领导,在临床医学与教学工作中不断有所成就。
