百年以前,第二次工业革命刚刚完成,发达国家都把世界博览会看作展示实力、相互学习的最好机会,中国最早把它翻译成万国博览会。世博会是全世界规模最大、参与人数最多的盛会。1900年的巴黎奥运会,都是作为巴黎世博会的“附属项目”出现的。一、1928年以前的万国博览会由英、美、法、奥四个国家自行筹备、自发邀请、自己举办,未曾排序。
