青海民族问题突出表现在经济、教育、宗教等多个方面,既有民族自身发展的问题,也有民族关系的问题。青海的民族问题不仅影响着本省稳定发展,由于其特殊的地理位置、宗教问题的复杂性和辐射性、分裂势力和国内外敌对分子的活动,青海成为维护祖国统一的战略重地、反分裂斗争的前沿和辐射全国的民族宗教问题的可能发源地。
The issue of nationalities in Qinghai is prominently manifested in many aspects such as economy, education and religion, as well as problems concerning the development of the nation itself and its relations with other ethnic groups. The ethnic issue in Qinghai not only affected the stable development of the province, but Qinghai became the strategic ground for safeguarding the reunification of the motherland and the cause of the anti-separatist struggle because of its special geographical location, the complexity of religious issues, and its radiation, secessionist forces and hostile elements at home and abroad. The forefront and radiation of the nation’s ethnic and religious issues may be the birthplace.
