Under the N * (1 535) resonance model, the reaction of γ on nucleus η was studied. The model parameters were determined by the experimental data of N decay and γp → ηp reaction. The results show that MN = 1 550MeV is better According to the experiment of γp → ηp, the total cross-section of photon generation of η meson at 12 C shows that the width of N (1 53 5) in the nucleus increases due to multi-body correction and the N-core interaction has repulsive property
