舒乙,1935年生于青岛,北京人,满族,中国著名文学家舒庆春(老舍)之子。1954年9月留学苏联,历任中国林业科学院林产化工研究所实习员,北京光华木材厂科研室主任、科长、工程师、高级工程师,中国现代文学馆副馆长、常务副馆长、馆长,研究馆员,博士生导师,北京市第七、八、九届政协委员,全国第九届政协委员。担任中国博物馆学会副会长、中华民族团结进步协会常务
Shu Yi, born in 1935 in Qingdao, Beijing, Manchu, son of the famous Chinese writer Shuqing Chun (Lao She). He studied in the Soviet Union in September 1954. He has successively served as an intern in the Institute of Forest Products and Chemical Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, director of the scientific research department of Beijing Guanghua Timber Factory, chief engineer, senior engineer, deputy director of the Chinese Modern Literature Center, executive vice director, curator, Research librarian, doctoral tutor, Beijing seventh, eight, nine CPPCC members, the Ninth CPPCC National Committee members.
