加快经济发展方式转变,是我国经济领域的一场深刻变革,关系改革开放和社会主义现代化建设全局。加快经济发展方式转变,对于各地来说,又是一个新的命题。作为产业高度集聚、经济高度发达的苏南地区,近年来,如何加快经济发展方式转变,不断提高经济发展质量和效益,不断提高区域经济的国际竞争力和抗风险能力,使区域发展质量越来越高、发展空间越来越大、发展道路越走越宽?今年4月,本报《加快经济发展方式转变调研行》调研组,选择有着一定典型性的我国乡镇企业的发源地江苏省无锡市锡山区,作为重点调研的对象。在锡山区,调研组人员通过实地考察、召开多个层次座谈会以及重点走访等方式,全面系统地了解了锡山在经济转型上的一些做法,以及值得各地借鉴的经验。
