顺德市妇幼保健院,经过十几年的艰苦创业,使该院在人才结构、妇幼保健、医疗技术、行政管理、房屋建设、设备装备等方面,跨入全国县级市妇幼保健院先进行列。全市妇幼保健工作各项指标已达到全国农村甲类地区标准,1993年评为国家二级甲等专科医院,1995年通过爱婴医院、爱婴市国家级评估。他们感受最深的是抓住了发展的机遇,一是改革开放的机遇,二是妇幼卫生全省试点和“三优”工程全国试点的机遇,三是人才流动的机遇,四是医院分级管理的机遇。
