在我国,工会作为党领导下的工人阶级群众组织,是党联系职工群众的桥梁和纽带,是国家政权的重要社会支柱,也是职工利益的代表者和维护者。工会职能发挥的好不好,将影响工会组织的在职工群众中的形象,影响工会对广大职工群众的凝聚力、号召力,甚至关系到党的阶级基础和执政地位的巩固。工会干部的能力素质和业务水平如何,很大程度上决定了工会工作开展效果。目前,我国正处于社会转型、经济转轨、结构转换、体制创新的全面深化改革的新时期,社会生活日新月异,这就要求工会工作要顺应新常态、善于迎接挑战和变化,要求工会干部不断提升自身素质和工作能力。因此,在新时期,努力打造一支政治素质过硬、专业水平优秀、协调能力出众、热切服务群众、思路视野广阔的高素质工会干部队伍,对于增强工会的凝聚力、发挥在改革发展稳定大局中的作用、开创新形势下工会工作的新局面有着极其重要的现实意义。
