Objective To study the changes and clinical significance of electrolytes in children with pneumonia at different degrees and stages. Methods The levels of sodium, calcium, magnesium, potassium, chloride and phosphorus in mild pneumonia group, severe pneumonia group and control group were respectively measured. The levels of serum sodium, calcium and magnesium in children with acute pneumonia and convalescent were measured, respectively Determination of different pathogens caused by severe pneumonia and control group serum potassium levels, and analyzed. Results Serum sodium, calcium and magnesium in severe pneumonia group were significantly lower than those in mild pneumonia group (P <0.05), but were lower in mild pneumonia group than in control group (P <0.05). Acute The levels of serum sodium, calcium and magnesium were significantly lower than those in the recovery stage (P <0.05). The serum potassium level in children with severe pneumonia was significantly higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). Conclusion Detecting serum sodium, calcium, magnesium and potassium has great significance in the diagnosis and treatment of pneumonia in children
