各市、州委,各市、州人民政府,省直机关各单位:根据省委常委会2001年工作要点和省委经济工作会议精神,拟定了2001年省委、省政府重点抓好的8件大事及其督查要点。2001年省委、省政府将坚持以扩大国内需求为主促进经济发展,把加强农业和增加农民收入放在经济工作的突出位置。重点对加强农业基础地位、努力增加农民收入,加大工业改革与发展力度、加快工业化进程,应对加入wro准备情况,继续优化重点工程和重点项目建设环境,加快湘西开发和长株潭经济一体化进程,治理教育收费,加强党的建设、转变干部作风,完善社会保障制度、严厉打击各种犯罪、确保社会政治稳定等8项工作的落实情况进行督促检查。请各市州和省直有关部门按照省委、省政府的部署,切实解决上述工作落实过程中的问题,使2001年的各项工作落到实处。有关落实情况请于2002年1月中旬向省委、省政府写出专题报告,由省委办公厅、省政府办公厅综合后予以通报。省委督查室将组织各有关部门开展专题督查,以促进各项工作任务的圆满完成。附:关于2001年全省要着力抓好的8件大事的督促检查要点
