中国进入WTO,对于运输行业来讲是喜大于忧,机遇多于挑战。入世后,中国对外的联系会更多,经济往来会更密切。作为一个港口企业的秦皇岛港务局(秦港),其业务量自然会增大。但必须看到的是,各港口之间的竞争会更激烈,竞争的焦点集中于收费和服务这两点。在企业竞争力方面,WTO并未带来什么直接影响。秦港与其它港口相比,主要优势在于它是一个老港口,主要业务是煤炭装运,合同比较多,部分煤炭还会运往国外。业务的集中使得秦港的煤炭装卸效率比较
When China enters the WTO, it is more than worrying about the transport industry, with more opportunities than challenges. After China’s accession to the WTO, China will have more contacts with the outside world and economic ties will be closer. As a port enterprise Qinhuangdao Port Authority (Qin Hong Kong), its volume will naturally increase. However, we must see that there will be more competition among ports and the focus of competition will focus on fees and services.
