Although joining the World Trade Organization benefits China as a whole, there are few quantitative answers to specific questions such as how much to gain, who is benefiting, and who is being damaged. The World Bank’s report recently introduced a detailed analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of China’s accession to the WTO. However, for some of these conclusions, some domestic scholars have put forward different views.
